SOLAR
ECLIPSE - Nov 2012
Thousands of people
from all over the world are packing
their bags to arrive in Cairns November
2012. Why? To witness an event that will
not be seen again for, at least, another
500 years. A Solar Eclipse when the moon
overshadows the sun and plunges us into
darkness.
This event will begin at 6.37am on the
14th November as the solar eclipse
shadow sweeps across the Northern
Territory, across the Gulf of
Carpentaria and Cape York before the
central line crosses The Coral Sea and
The Great Barrier Reef at 6.39am.
Join us at Trinity Waters Boutique
Beachfront Apartments, right on Trinity
Beach, to witness such an amazing act of
nature. Stay awhile and celebrate our
region; the world-heritage Daintree
Rainforest, the wonders of The Great
Barrier Reef. Our weather is perfect,
our waters are warm and we have just the
right apartment for you and your family
and friends.

ANZAC
DAY
Come and join us every year, at dawn, on
ANZAC Day as we stand on the southern
end of Vasey Esplanade. Trinity Beach
played an important role during WW2 as a
training ground for amphibious landings
prior to pushing the Japanese forces
out. Thousands of troops landed here
when the beach looked very different
from today and a large part of the
suburb has Papua New Guinea street names
in memory of the Coastwatchers and of
course the small Shopping Centre and
Park has the same name.
Other Cultural and Sports Events to be
announced
